We are well in to 2017 now and we thought here at GCL Food Ingredients, it was time to take a seat and look back on what a great year 2016 had been for us.

It started off with our new and continued success in to the Foodservice industry. This was a new sector for us, which was quite a daunting thought knowing the competition in the market. However, we are so thankful we took the chance in to this sector. We are know proudly serving some of the largest restaurant chains in the UK with our ingredients.

July 2016 was the moment we took our brand and online presence to the next level. Some of you may of known us as Giorgio’s Continental Limited and we are still the same thriving business. However, our new brand name GCL Food Ingredients highlights our journey to the next level to a manufacturer and supplier of premium food ingredients in the Foodservice and Industrial sectors.

August 2016 saw us announce that both our further processing site and our manufacturing site had both received BRC v7 AA grade. These great results pay testament to the hard work all our employees have put in over the years. It demonstrates our commitment to keep technical standards at the highest level through all processors.

However, out of all our accomplishments in 2016, we believe November 2016 was our finest moment.

The Grocer selected us, GCL Food Ingredients, in the top 50 fastest growing business’ of 2016, in the food and drink market. This is something we are extremely proud of and is proof of what a successful year 2016 had been.

We are hoping 2017 has the same success in which 2016 did, if not more!
So far this year we have spent investment on people and machinery in order to keep growing our business. So watch this space for new product developments and bringing our online presence to the forefront of our success.
